Jonny Kanagasooriam is Head of Content for BBC Sounds overseeing content strategy and slate for the platform. He works with commissioning and production teams across Radio & Music, Nations, Local, News, Children’s & Education, Sport, World Service, TV & iPlayer as well as BBC Studios to deliver an on-demand (including video podcast) music & speech content pipeline. Previously, he worked for BBC Studios, Dazed Media, McCann London and Wunderman Thompson. He is a trustee of The Whitechapel Gallery and The Donmar Warehouse Theatre.
