This session focuses on the role technology is playing in driving innovation in sports production, and what the future holds for tech-enabled innovation and the topics to be covered include the growing use of AI in automating the creation of highlights, clipping, metadata, commentary and personalised content.
The panel will also discuss how tech is continuing to make remote production more seamless, reliable and obtainable for all levels of sports production including Data-driven sports graphics and on-screen insights bringing different aspects of sports to life for audiences.
Other tech-enabled developments will also be debated, including innovations in studio presentation, virtual studios and virtual set extensions; the demand (or lack of) for immersive VR sports content; cloud-based production innovations; and how technology is enabling teams to more easily create content for multiple platforms (broadcast, social, vertical, short-form, live, etc) at the same time.
